Akande Ifedayo, Prince Adewunmi, Others Appointed Members Of Remo Youth Day Planning Committee

The Chairman of Remo Youth Association has approved the appointment of Comrade Akande Ifedayo Oluwaseun as the Secretary of the planning committee and Prince ‘Wunmi Wasiu Okulaja a member of the committee.

Recall that Com. Sesan Gbolade was appointed as the Chairman, 2023 Remo Youth Day Planning Committee at the monthly meeting of RYA in Ilara.

In order to swing into action towards the planning the activities of Remo Youth Day 2023, the Chairman of Remo Youth Association has approved the appointment of Comrade Akande Ifedayo Oluwaseun as the Secretary of the planning committee and Prince ‘Wunmi Wasiu Okulaja a member of the committee.

There is a status quo in Remo Youth Association which must be adhered to in every task. Such is a representation of the 3 Local Government in any decision making, Onagbesan said.

“If you look at the committee, you will notice the Chairman of the Committee is from Remo North, Secretary is from Sagamu while the other member is from Ikenne Local Government”, Comrade Yaya.

“Sometimes it is better to work with a small group than a large group. I believe in the capacity of the trio. If I want to sound funny; The chairman of the committee is a community stakeholder, teacher and peace ambassador; Comrade Ifedayo is an Entrepreneur, comrade and Soldier while Comrade Okulaja is an entertainer who understands the rich culture of Remo. Combining their resources together, I believe they can deliver because they are all influential in their respective Local Government.”

As it was earlier disclosed, “the Committee are to work with the support of the Executives.”

The terms of reference have been given to the committee and the public is expected to be seeing updates as regards activities of Remo Youth Day 2023.

Comrade Ifedayo when contacted, disclosed that “the committee will put in their best with the support of the Executives delivering a successful and impactful Remo Youth Day 2023.”

The chairman of the Committee; “Comrade Sesan appeals to stakeholders of Remoland for their financial and moral support towards the programme. He however mentioned that supports will come from both corporate and public bodies which includes companies, Royal Fathers, Politicians, Private individuals and Youths themselves.”

In the comments of Prince ‘wunmi Okulaja; He mentioned that “with God, all things are possible as they will try their best to deliver colourful events”.

Remo Youth Day will hold in December 2023, the committee said.
