Comrade Gbolade Sesan Appointed As 2023 Remo Youth Day Planning Committee Chairman

The immediate Past President of Ilara Remo Youth Forum, Comrade Gbolade Sesan was appointed as the Chairman; 2023 Remo Youth Day Celebration at the General Monthly Meeting of Remo Youths held in Ilara Remo.

Recalled that Comrade Aderonke Adebowale was appointed last year as the first female chairperson of the annual Youth Day Celebration planning Committee.

Remo Youth Day is an annual event of Remo Youth Association usually schedule for every December. The Celebration features events ranging from Summit, Community Service, Sports, Empowerment among others.

Comrade Gbolade Sesan who is a member of the Education Committee that organized Remo Youth Quiz for Secondary Schools in Remo in 2022.

“Comrade Sesan is a brother, teacher, and ambassador of peace whom I have known for over a decade. He has played key roles in Youth activities which qualified him to chair the committee for this year’s Remo Youth Day (RYD)”, Comrade Onagbesan said.

While unveiling his appointment as the Chairman of the Committee, he was also awarded by the entire Youth of Ilara Remo for his dedicated and meritorious service as the pioneer President of Ilara Remo Youth Forum.

The chairman is expected to work with other committee members to be selected across the Three (3) Local Government under the supervision/Support of Remo Youth Association Executives.

The appointment takes immediate effect with Four (4) Months ahead of Remo Youth Day Celebration.
