ADC Appoints Itunu Abioro As Party State Chairman In Ogun

The national body of African Democratic Congress, ADC, has appoints interim party Chairman in Ogun State.

Mr Itunu Abioro Temitayo in Ogun State has been appointed as the party state acting Chairman.

“My plan is to reconcile and reconnect with all stakeholders of the party”, Abioro said.

“According to statistics, the party in Ogun state has always recorded around 100 thousand votes.”

“We need to focus on getting back to having state house of Assembly Members and federal law makers”, Abioro said.

ADC has entrusted the party to Itunu Abioro who they believe has what it takes to push the agenda of the 3rd largest party in Ogun state to start with.

“I will ensure there’s a strategic measures that will be put in place to engage the likes of GNI, Amosun and Otegbeye for us to promote and positively bring more people on board to the party before next general elections”, Abioro assures.

In a memo of notification observed by The Eaglesforesight, sent by the party to Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and signed by the dual of the National Chairman of the party, Ralphs Okey Nwosu, and National Secretary of ADC, Alhaji Said Baba Abdullahi.

“We write to notify the commission of the above development as regards our great party.”

“This follows the resolution passed at the NWC and NEC meeting on 13th September 2023, necessitate by the need to position ADC powerfully for future elections following outcomes of the reports of the disciplinary committee and defection of some party executives to parties in power after the general elections.”

“As in our tradition, please accept our fraternal warm handshake and esteemed regards”, the party national body says.
