OGUN: If Tribunal is Not A Circus, Tell Abiodun, APC Not To Call Witnesses — PDP Counsels Oladunjoye

In a press statement released by Ogun Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  State publicity Secretary, Asiwaju Akinloye Bankole has counsel All Progressive Congress, APC, publicity secretary, Mr Oladunjoye to tell APC, Dapo Abiodun not to present witness if truly Tribunal is not a circus as he claimed.

“The difficulty of impressing members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) with all manners of litany of falsehood is manifestly taking its toe on the party and its media handlers as far as objective and honest reportage of happenings at the election tribunal are concerned.”

“It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC declared in open court that the commission which has the constitutional responsibility of defending itself and everything that has to do with the conduct of its ’open electoral coup’, out of need to avoid public embarrassment, declined to call any witness to present fresh facts against us and our candidate, Hon. Ladi Adebutu as earlier promised.”

“Interestingly, the roundly rejected APC and its media urchins have suddenly found a toy to dance around with. In the real sense, if APC and its incompetent placeholder, Mr. Dapo Abiodun is so satisfied with INEC’s refusal to call any witness, we dare say that Mr. Oladunjoye should summon the courage to also encourage and advise his party and Mr. Abiodun to toe the same line by not calling any witness when the tribunal resumes tomorrow, Friday for continuation of defence.”

“It should be emphasised that Apc lines of reaction as contained in another wishywashy tale which was signed yesterday by its publicity secretary, Alhaji Tunde Oladunjoye clearly showed lack of intellectual stamina to absorb the sterling realities of retaining a stolen mandate. The reaction is another lame attempt to twist facts and create false hope for his army of sheepish audience and partymen.”

“While we urge members of the public who earnestly look forward to a more functional and rewarding governance in Ogun state to sympathize with Mr. Oladunjoye, the APC and Mr. Abiodun on the herculean task of protecting and preserving an illegitimate mandate, we urge all citizens to desist from giving the APC underserved attention as the state awaits a favourable decision from the tribunal which is the last hope of the common man.”
