OGUN: Association Donates Writing Materials To LG School, Seeks Gov’t Intervention On Infrastructure Projects

The Alma mater of LG School 1 and 2 Isale Ijagba ably led under the leadership of Comrade Oshoyemi Adeboye David as Chairman, Comrade Bashiru Owolabi Jimoh as Vice President and Comrade Akinsoya Adeola Emmanuel as Secretary has donated writing materials to pupils.

The group Vice President, Comrade Bashiru Jimoh said; we take this responsibility upon ourselves, and we as well seeks for government intervention on infrastructural projects to develop the school.

Elementary school pupils should be well taken care of, they are the future of this country, and we should encourage them by coming to their aides with all needed supports, such as; scholarships, donations of writing materials, school bags, free meal and many more.

Handing over the equipment to the teachers and head of the schools, the Association President, Comrade Oshoyemi Adeboye described the project as the Alma mater first assignment as none of the old students has ever done that before in the school.

He added that, the objective was to eradicate the era where pupils lack stationery to receive lectures.

According to the association Secretary, Comrade Akinsanya Adeola Emmanuel, the donation of the writing equipment was a tip of the iceberg, we becomes what we are today from the experience we acquired some years ago in this school, it’s a payback time, to give back to the school.

When contacted, the association Head boy during 91/92 set, Comrade Rabiu Saidi otherwise known as lucky boy, commends the teachers and headmasters efforts in ensuring that standard of education is introduced and practiced in the school. We are proud of the children and we can only do that more by acknowledging those in concern.

One of the teachers from the beneficiary schools (LG 1 & 2 Isale-Ijagba), appreciated the Alma mater for the initiative and bold step to cushion the suffering of the pupils at this critical time.

She appealed to other sets who as well graduated from the school and other well-meaning individuals in the town to emulate them.
