Oba Ewusi, Adron, Sapele, Soluade Tokunbo, Many More Dignitaries Set To Watch Obaruwa Cup Final Today — Ikenga, Sport Chairman

Comrade Kayode Okeowo Ikenga, Sport Chairman of the Obaruwa Cup 202 says HRM Oba Akinsanya Timothy Orungba 2, Group managing Chairman of Adron Homes And Properties, Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing, Honourable representing Makun Sagamu 2 State Constituency at Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Ademola Adeyinka Adeniran Sapele and many more dignitaries like Omoluwabi Pataki Soluade Tokunbo Toks and others will be watching the final of the Obaruwa Cup 2024 at Ebede Fc Stadium in Makun, Apele, Sagamu.

The Obaruwa Sport Chairman, Olukayode Okeowo Ikenga spoke with newsmen on Thursday.

Surulere Fc will be playing with Agbowa. The Surulere qualified for the ultimate round of the competition after beating Igbobi Fc on 4:3 penalties in the semi-final.

The team will face Agbowa Fc at the Ebede Stadium, Apele on Thursday by 3 pm.

Ikenga said he has been informed that Ewusi of Makun, Adron, Sapele, Toks Soluade and many dignitaries will be at the stadium to watch the match.

“I was told the Ewusi of Makun, HRH Oba Akinsanya Timothy Orungba 2 is coming [for the final] along with many dignitaries.”

Hon. Sapele was present at the group stages to watch the matches for year 2024 Obaruwa Cup.

Hon. Ademola Adeyinka Adeniran has been following the Obaruwa Cup’ progress from the group stages. He spoke to some players ahead of their quarter-final match.

He said youths should be proud of the competition while promising that the next edition “will be even better”.

“We have had close to five hundred people watching Obaruwa Cup 2024 live on the stadium. We should be proud as youths, and the next one will be even better,” Ikenga said.

“The success of any community or nation depends upon youths working together, trading together, and in football, community competing and playing together.”
