Honourable Damilare Mohammed Bello, Dre, the Ogun State Assembly Member-Elect, representing Sagamu Constituency 1, offing has congratulates Anthony Joshua for beating Jermaine Franklin after 12 rounds.

Omooba Damilare hailed Joshua for his courage and discipline, on and off the ring, and prayed that this success will be a stepping stone to one of the greatest comebacks in boxing history.

The Sagamu Constituency 1 Assembly Member-Elect believed that the accomplishments of Joshua on the world stage will continue to inspire many upcoming professionals, particularly sportsmen and women, not to be discouraged by temporary defeats and setbacks.

He, however, wished Joshua a bright future and fulfilling career.

Omooba Dre mentioned it that; “Joshua’s Nigerian root is traceable to Offin my political constituency Sagamu, Remo, Ogun State, born on October 15, 1989, in Watford, Hertfordshire. Sagamu is one of the 20 Local Government Areas of Ogun State.”

“Joshua attended Ikenne, Ogun State-based Mayflower School founded by the late Dr. Tai Solarin, a Nigerian educator and civil rights activist from Ikenne.”
