Check Out The Most Beautiful Police Station In Nigeria… By Prince Lahbash

If every major town in Nigeria had one or two police stations like this one in Sagamu Local Government at Simawa community area of Ogun State, the Nigeria Police Force as an institution would attract high regards from Nigerians. It is the kind of police office building that any citizen would be proud of.

The people of Simawa and Police Community Relation Committee congratulated the MD/CEO of ADRON Homes, Aare Adetola Olaonipekun Emmanuelking for his kind gesture from time to time.

The laudable project kick started in 2017 by the Simawa Community under the supervision of the PCRC SIMAWA unit.

The burden of the project was however beyond the capacity of the Community. Simawa community is precisely in Makun area of Sagamu Local Government in Ogun State.

In 2019, Aare Adetola Emmanuel King, MD CEO of ADRON HOMES AND PROPERTIES was challenged by the FADESEWA of Simawa to support the project.

In response, he accepted the challenge and promised to get on with the project.

The state of the art Project is almost completed and will be opened soon.

When Completed, the Simawa Police Station will be one of the best in Nigeria from Ogun State, in terms of beauty, aesthetics and facilities as been valued.

Meanwhile it was stated earlier that in 2018 the below pictured police station is the most beautiful as at that period in Nigeria.

And the development of things analyzed that the one sited at Simawa area will be the most beautiful police station if completed anytime soon.

The building, a petite structure standing exquisitely on Simawa community land, however, is certainly going to be ranked among the most beautiful police stations in Nigeria. Only a sense of modesty and absence of research stop one from confidently tagging it the best in the country. This police post surely stands out from the pack.

“In advanced countries, you can have structures that have been built for over 200 years and they are still functioning well. We want that to be the story of that place, as in all other places, most especially the ones that have our (taxpayers money) input.”, Prince Lahbash says

The Nigeria Police Force has a winding history that began in 1861 with a 30-member consular guard formed in defunct Lagos Colony. In 1879 a 1,200-member armed paramilitary Hausa Constabulary was formed. The Royal Niger Company set up the Royal Niger Company Constabulary in the north in 1888 with headquarters in Lokoja, followed in 1896 by the Lagos Police.

Earlier, a similar force, the Niger Coast Constabulary, was formed in Calabar in 1894 under what newly became Niger Coast Protectorate. The police remained separate bodies when Northern and Southern Nigeria were amalgamated in 1914, as their police forces were not merged until 1930 when what is today the unified Nigeria Police Force (NPF) came into being.

The quality of the Nigeria Police Force, as the case may be, with many national institutions, deteriorated as the years also rolled by, evidenced in the sorry state of other fronts, what the ranked and file wear as uniform and where they report for duty, the police stations and police posts are nothing good to write home about in Nigeria.
