Just In: The 2023/2024 Bursary Application Form Is Out! — RIDSCo/Lafarge Announces

IN line with its commitment to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 4 – Quality Education – Lafarge Africa Plc in partnership with the Royal Initiative  for the Development of Sagamu Communities, RIDSCo are set to award multi-million-naira bursaries in its host community, Sagamu, Ogun State.

Since the launch of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Day, Lafarge Africa is partnership with RIDSCo has continued to live up to its billing of improving the living standard of its host communities in Sagamu, Ogun State with the provision of basic business & vocational skills, start-up kits, education grants, community projects, agricultural fund, healthcare and education facilities, among others, on a yearly basis.

However, the 2023/2024 Bursary form is out for registration.

This is to inform the general public that the Royal Initiative for the Development of Sagamu Community, RIDSCo/Lafarge Africa Plc. 2023 Bursary form is out.

According to organizers in a press statement released, “we are pleased to announce the commencement of the RIDSCo/Lafarge Bursary Award registration for the upcoming academic year. This initiative aims to support and empower penultimate year students in their pursuit of higher education.”

Registration Start Date: Monday, September 11th
Registration Deadline: Sunday, October 10th

Registration Procedure
1. Log on to www.ridsco-ng.com
2. Place cursor on ACTIVITIES, click on Bursary Form to register.
3. After the submission of your registration, make a PRINT OUT of the filled form and address it to: The Chairman Education & Youth Empowerment Committee, Royal Initiative for the Development of Sagamu Community, Aafin Akarigbo, Ita-Oba, Sagamu.
4. Submit the printout with ONE PASSPORT photograph to RIDSCo office, Aafin Akarigbo, Ita-Oba, Sagamu.

PLEASE NOTE THAT REGISTRATION CLOSES ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14TH, 2023.

Also, to qualify for this Bursary award, you must:

1. Be an indigene of Sagamu Local Government Council either by birth or parents
2. Be in the PENULTIMATE year (a year before graduation) in any public higher institution as at the time of registration, i.e,

A. Year III for any 4 year programme to any public university.
B. HND 1 in any public Polytechnic.
C. Year II for NCE Students in public Colleges of Education and School of Nursing or Health Technology.
