Wike’s House In Abuja Doesn’t Have C Of O — FCT Residents Revealed
Barely a week after Nyesom Wike, the new minister of the federal capital territory (FCT), disclosed plan that any house built in contravention of the city’s masterplan will be demolished and warned land speculators that a new sheriff is in town.
“And those who have been given CofO (certificate of occupancy) and failed to develop, and they have become land speculators, the land is gone. I will revoke them.”
Abuja residents have accused the minister that his house located at Otega Close, Asokoro in Abuja, have no certificate of occupancy.
“If you know you have built where you are not supposed to build, it will go down.
Be it a minister of anywhere, be it an ambassador… if you know you have developed where you are not supposed to, your house will go down, the Minister has announced shortly after he was inaugurated as one of President Bola Tinubu’s ministers last week Monday.

Wike also warned that those doing land marketing, the period for that is over,” he said.

Some of the senior management staffs in the LCDA, said that house of the former governor of Rivers State had been marked for demolition before his appointment as Minister, by the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).
“If the newly appointed minister of FCT must be very serious with his plan as he said, definitely he’s own building have go to down first completely.
