Sagamu Mayhem: Sequel to the cult clashes in Sagamu that leads to the arrest of Member of Ogun State House of Assembly, Honourable Damilare Muhammad Bello, representing Sagamu State Constituency and five others, the Team Dre has breaks silence.

The team alleged the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC, to be the brain behind the wide spread News that claims, Hon. Dre was caught with arms and ammunitions along with suspected flew cultists.

The team Dre claims those arrested with Hon. Dre were his aides, in comprises of his Personal Assistant, Director General of Team Dre, Protocol officer, among others.

The team sue for peace, says Hon. Dre and other arrested with him are all in strong spirits.

Information reaching our correspondent from other sources in the town and among his family, political and public commentators has revealed that; “this Honourable man is been oppressed with all available powers to intimidate him.”

Those arrested are presently undergoing interrogation at the Department of State Service (DSS).

It would be recalled that Hon. Bello was earlier arrested by the DSS with an allegation of masterminding the violent protest that took place in February this year in Sagamu over the naira redesign policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

An allegation which he has cleared himself before and after his arrest, another source revealed.

During the protest, irate youths vandalised about 10 banks and other public infrastructures in Sagamu.

“We want everyone to remain calm as PDP in Ogun State has waded into the issue with our team of lawyers.”

Dark days are going to be over soon in Ogun State, the team says.
