Sagamu Cult Clash: Community Youth President Condemns The Heartbreaking Loss To Mayhem In Sagamu

Sagamu Cult Clashes- Following the cult clashes recently recorded in Sagamu over the weekend, that reportedly claims no fewer than 23 souls, many brutally injured within 48hrs, the Sagamu Youth Association President, Comrade Olusegun Sikiru Abdul-wasiu has expressed displeasure.

In a press statement signed by the youth president and released on his page; he sympathized with the families of the affected people during the clashes of the cultists in the town.

Eaglesforesight recalls that, within 48 hrs over the weekend, the clashes claimed 23 souls. However, the government in a way to curb the incident, has declared curfew in Sagamu, warns every perpetrators to report themselves, or face the wrath of the law.

“It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we, the Sagamu Youth Association, address the deeply troubling issue of cult-related killings within our beloved community. We stand united in our condemnation of these horrific acts, and we wish to express our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims.”

“It is also with deep sadness that we reflect on the fact that those involved in these tragic incidents were once childhood friends, sharing memories, dreams, and hopes for the future. It is devastating to witness these bonds torn apart by violence and senseless acts.”

“We are deeply concerned by the assertion that the government claims not to know those responsible for these brutal killings. As a community, we find it difficult to accept this explanation, as many of these individuals were once familiar faces in our streets and neighborhoods.”
