Ogun East Senator Elect, Otunba Gbenga Daniel Empathizes With Sagamu Flood Victims, Set To Provides Relief Materials
The Ogun East Senate Elect and the former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has Commiserates with the victims of the heavy downpour that claimed life of one young boy and many reportedly sustained injuries.
In a press statement released and obtained by Eaglesforesight correspondent, the humanitarian Senator, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has shown again that he is truly representing the interests and sharing from the pains of his constituents.
Recalled that Eaglesforesight was the one to first call the attention of the government to come to the aides of the victims.

“I am troubled by reports of the flooding disaster in many parts of Sagamu following torrential rainfall. This devastation, which I am told has claimed at least a life, and destroyed properties and people’s livelihoods worth millions of naira, is one too many.”
“My heartfelt prayers are with all those who are affected by this unfortunate incident.”
“While I have instructed that some relief materials be made available to some of the victims via the Gateway Front Foundation, I call on the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to urgently come to our people’s aid.”
“As we continue to brace up against the challenges of climate change, we hope that the government will speed up negotiations with the Ecological Fund Office to fast-track a lasting solution to this environmental challenge.”
