OGUN: At 83, Former Sagamu Local Government Chairman Is Dead

The former Sagamu Local Government Chairman and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Stateman Honourable Chief Bayode Omololu Oluwole is dead at 83.

Chief Bayode Omololu Oluwole was the former chairman of Sagamu Local Government within 1991 and 1993.

He was also the Bobajiroro of Remo Land, The Aremo of Arowosugbo of Ojowo Ijebu Igbo, The Aro of Latawa Sagamu, Olofin of Ibido, Sagamu, and the Balogun of Methodist Church, Ijoku Sagamu.

The former chairman reportedly died in the late hours of Saturday and officially announced by the family.

A close family friend, Mr Bosun Davies, confirmed the demise on Saturday evening.

When reached on phone call to verify the information, Asiwaju Bolarinwa Oluwole confirmed to The Eaglesforesight that Baba is dead in a sorrowful voice.

He said the family and the party (PDP) would soon make official communication to the media on the matter.
