 MEET HON. OMOBOLAJI OLUWASEUN OYESANYA (ENGR.), FOR CHAIRMAN, SAGAMU LOCAL GOVERNMENT 2021.

To offer a responsible and responsive leadership subject to public scrutiny and by standard accountable to the people is my priority.

BACKGROUND DATA


Omobolaji was born to Engr. Samuel Ola Oyesanya (Lisa Akarigbo Remo) family in some decades ago, his father was chartered civil and structural engineer, one of the first set of structural engineers in Nigeria, Lisa of Akarigbo Remo, he hails from Ewu Lisa here in Sagamu and mother born into Awoyemi Elege ibon family here in Sagamu, who are usually the Balogun,  Akarigbo of Remo Kingdom.

EDUCATION

Hon. Oluwaseun Omobolaji started his education pursuit at Ansar-Ud-Deen primary school (AUD), Makun, later he proceeded to United African Methodist Church, Eleja Surulere to complete his first school leaving certificate (FSLC) in the 80s.

He proceeded to Saapade Grammar School, Isara later to Remo Divisional High School, Sagamu for his Senior School Certificate Examination in the 90s.

Government Technical College, Abeokuta was not left out in his educational journey, where he had technical experience in electrical field. He proceeded to Yaba College of Technology, Yaba for a diploma in Civil Engineering.

As a young, promising and aspiring sagamite, Omobolaji proceeded to Riverland Community College, Albert Lea, Minnesota United States of America for a degree in Electrical Construction.

At the moment, at Minnesota State University, USA for bachelor’s degree in Operations Management.

Young and promising Omobolaji Oluwaseun Oyesanya had worked, served and still in the line of service at the following to mention but few;

CAREER

i. Gafot Engineers and Construction, Lagos (1997 – 1999).

ii. Works and Housing Department, Surulere Local Government (1999 – 2009), Senior Electrical Technician. He was solely responsible for the supervision and monitoring of the first set of solar powered street lights on major Surulere Local Government roads.

iii. Quality Pork processor and Electrical System Technician at Austin as a quality control officer Minnesota (2009-2013)

Presently a Lead Engineer at Lakeland Engineers, Minnesota.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION

Oyesanya Omobolaji Is a member of the Nigeria Association of Engineering Craftsmen (NAEC)

He has over 16 years work experience as Electronics & Mechanical Technologist Building control systems

Many years of building and maintenance of industrial solar system

Hon. Omobolaji is happily married to a trained banker and health care specialist. She’s currently a frontline health worker in the United States and their union is blessed with wonderful children.
