Hon. Damilare Mohammed Bello Commissions Borehole In Ogijo, Vows To Touch All Wards Within 1-Year In Office

Honourable Damilare Mohammed Bello commissioned borehole project at Melufen area of Ogijo, Sagamu

Hon. Damilare Mohammed Bello also reiterated that in his first year in office, he would continue to ensure that the dividends of democracy get to the nooks and crannies of all the wards in Sagamu Constituency 1.

In fulfilment of his electioneering campaign promises to the people of Ogijo, Omooba Damilare Mohammed Bello, the Honourable representing Offin, Sagamu Constituency 1 at the Ogun State House of Assembly, has constructed a borehole and capacity storage tank at the Melufen area of Ogijo in Sagamu, to cushion the effects of water scarcity in the area.

During the construction of the borehole, Omooba Damilare Bello appreciated the residents, especially the youths for their maximum cooperation and support for the supervision of the project.

According to the Team Dre campaign Director General, Animashaun Adebowale, “During our Ward-to-Ward tour, we gave a promise that this area will be provided with a water facility. And here we are today, with a borehole in fulfilment of our team promise.”

He also reiterated that the team would continue to ensure that the dividends of democracy will get to the nooks and crannies of Sagamu Constituency 1.

On his part, a community leader said: “I am so happy because we do go far distance to get access to water, but today, as he promised during his Ward-to-Ward tour to Melufen, Omooba Damilare Bello has given hope to our people with a borehole. To cap it up, what a man of integrity is Honourable Dre.”

The community youth leader also thanked Hon. Dre Bello for his gesture and assured him that the community would make good use of the borehole.

Hon. Dre Bello also reaffirmed his commitment to the continuation of delivering projects across all the wards in his constituency, until every community in need of portable water supply across the ten wards he is representing in Sagamu constituency 1 are reached.

The Honourable as well appealed to the beneficiaries to own the project and protect it as they will help to improve sanitation and hygiene.
