Gov Fubara Vows To Apprehend Killers Of Rivers DPO, Meets Security Chiefs

The governor held the State Security Council meeting to address the urgency created by the gruesome murder of the DPO.
Fubara said shortly after the meeting, “This morning, we held an emergency security meeting to tackle the urgency created by the gruesome murder of SP Bako Angbashim, the DPO of Ahoada, by some miscreants.
“We have taken further steps by asking the security agencies to smoke out the miscreants by any means so as to keep our state safe for all law-abiding citizens.
“We must get him (killer of SP Bako) dead or alive” as “we would not rest until whoever is responsible for this act is brought to book.”
The Eaglesforesight gathered that the people of Ahoada are now living in fear after the murder of Angbashim, an officer who they believed brought some level of sanity and security to the area after he was deployed from Ogoni in 2023.
