A member of the 9th Ogun State House of Assembly, and former Chief Whip, Hon. (Asiwaju) Atinuke Bello, has described the victory of Governor Dapo Abiodun at the Supreme Court as a sign of greater things to happen in Ogun State.

Reacting to the judgment, Bello explained that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Mr. Ladi Adebutu, has refused to accept that Governor Abiodun was massively voted for by the good people of Ogun State.

While congratulating the governor on his victory, the lawmaker noted that the judgment had put to rest the tussle over who truly won the March 18 governorship election.

“This judgment will make Mr. Governor to remain focus on the delivery of good governance to the good people of the state and it is my hope that the verdict will put an end to the needless bickering, distractions and provocation that greeted the election.”

“I want to use this medium to congratulate our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), over this latest victory and I also rejoice with the good people of Ogun State because the victory is a sign of greater things to happen.”

“I also congratulate the leadership of our party, especially Chief Yemi Sanusi and all members of our party on this latest victory”, the lawmaker added.
