Federal College Of Education Alumni 2012 Seeks Support, Govt Intervention For Triplets After Death Of Mother

The Federal College of Education Alumni 2012 set precisely, has seeks for the support of individuals and government intervention for triplets after the demise of their mother.

It was stated in a press release of the association signed by the coordinator, Sholabi Habeeb Oladayo seeking for individuals and government to come to the Triplets family aides.

“I wish to bring to your notice the incident that happened to Afolarin, Gafar Olakunle, a ‘business centre’ operator in Federal College of Education Abeokuta Mini Market, in Odeda Local Government Area, on Friday, 24th June, 2023.”

“Mr Afolarin lost his wife MARIAM ADERONKE AFOLARIN a couple of days after she was delivered of a set of triplet (two boys and a girl) at a Ogun State General Hospital, Abeokuta; the cause of death as was confirmed by medical personnel was as a result of High Blood Pressure.”

“The triplets who have since been named AbdulRahmon, AbdulRaheem and Raheemah are presently admitted in the State Hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta for proper care and treatment.”

“The Federal College of Education, Abeokuta-2012 Alumni Set in which the deceased wife was a member raised and donated the sum of #100,000 to the family upon paying them a visit.”

“We however garnered that the family Afolarin family is dire need of all the financial, material and mental help that they can get as our token donation would less significant to help the Afolarins wade through the murky and trying period.”

To this end, “we earnestly plead on behalf of the family for Government’s assistance and intervention for these babies specifically in terms of materials (baby care provision) and finance to settle hospital and other bills.”
