2nd Anniversary: Queens, Chiefs, Residents, Others Honour Negbuwa Ibido, Oba Kolawole Adesina At Church Thanksgivings Service

It was a moment of joy today as lovers converged to celebrate with the Negbuwa Ibido, HRH Oba Kolawole Adesina Adeyemi as he marked his second anniversary on the throne.

During sermon, Reverend (Mrs) F. T. Oduwusi popularly known as Iya Bukky of The Living Christ Evangelical Ministry (LICEM), said the church would always be available for the progress of the Ibido community.

Reverend Odunusi said: “The gains of this are emerging in the spiritual supports to improve socio-economic development of Ibido town and the peaceful coexistence that exists among the people.

“I note particularly how kabiyesi has continued to deploy his rich experience and network for the service of not only Ibido but also neighboring communities, Sagamu as a whole and humanity in general.

“The fact that the second coronation anniversary is being celebrated in church to express gratitude, is a testament to the quality of thinking available in the daily exercise of the spiritual of administering the kingdom.”

The Negbuwa Ibido, Oba Kolawole Adeyemi, said: “I have been a devoted Christian before I became the Negbuwa Ibido. Kabiesi, may you live long. I greet my queens, Reverend Oduwusi, all well wishers, my chiefs and other traditional rulers here present. I thank God for the privilege bestowed on me to be with you alive today as your King.”

Adeyemi, who prayed for his lovers said: “Your relationship with me should be cordial, kindly accept me as your traditional ruler. Don’t curse your children, and I am assuring you that i will be calling regular meetings which we are going to be honouring to pray for our children and we will definitely prioritize health cares in Ibido community.

“Adeyemi, you will not die young and won’t get sick has implored all the traditional rulers to trace and know their origins, custom and traditions

He said that God has helped him in just two years on the throne as his reign had witnessed unprecedented achievements.

The names of the Chiefs in present are; Lisa of Ibido, High Chief Oluwole Osho. Odofin of Ibido, Chief Odunayo Oredeko. Bobajiroro of ibido, Chief Alani Ajisafe. Agbon of Ibido, Chief Olusegun Oduntan. Chief Bashir Hassan. Erelu Ayedun Oredeko.

Secretary of Ibido community, Prince Ademola Ayoola Elegbeji and Comrade, Omooba Ogundein Babatope RYA Treasurer were also available to honour His Royal Highness.

Again, Iyalode of Ibido, Chief (Mrs) Abosede Odufolakun Sotubo, Otunba Bobagunwa Chief Olumide Sotubo and Otunba Oloore of Ayangbuwa ruling house, Otunba Olusegun Ayoola Elegbeji, Bere Negbuwa Chief (Mrs) Tawa Afolabi Ayoola also graced the occasion of Kabiesi 2nd year coronation anniversary.
