BREAKING: Hon. Damilare Bello To Host 2023 International Youth Day With Constituents

Honourable Damilare Muhammad Bello, The Sagamu Constituency 1, Ogun State House of Assembly, Chairman House Committee on Public Account, also Vice Chairman House committee for Youths and Sports is expected to host the 2023 International Youth Day with the Youths of his Constituency.

People and expected associations at the occasion are: the members and executives of Sagamu Youth Association, the National Youth Council of Nigeria, (Apex youth body) Sagamu Chapter, interested participants from Sagamu Constituency 1, top politicians, dignitaries from Offin and beyond amongst others.

In a statement issued by Hon. Dre, noted that the annual event which is declared by the United Nations theme for 2023 is ‘Green Skills for Youth, towards a sustainable world, will hold at the Onijokun Hall, Sabo Sagamu on Saturday, 12th August 2023 by 9:00 am.

“Humanity depends on the boundless energy, ideas and contributions of youth everywhere. Today and every day, let’s support and stand with young people in shaping a just and sustainable world, for people and planet.” UN Secretary-General António Guterres.

He explained that the ceremony is being organized in partnership with the recognized youths body in Sagamu, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Nigerian Youth Parliament (NYP) Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC) and Sagamu Youths Association.

According to him, “Youth Leaders are expected from across Offin Sagamu Constituency 1. This year IYD would also be honoured by top dignitaries from the public and private sectors”

“This year IYD will feature the public presentation of a book titled: “Sustainable Development: The Youth Role In Nigeria Economics Future & National Security”.

He noted that; as the Vice Chairman House committee for Youths and Sports, I will inspire young people to discover their talents.
