AMVCA 2023: Remo Born Comedian, Broda Shaggi Takes Home Best Actor In Comedy, Says Hard Works Paid Back

An Ogun State born comedian from Remo, Ikenne Local Government Area, comedian Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has bagged the award for Best Actor in a Comedy.

The Remo comic actor, Samuel Animashaun Perry, known by his stage name, Broda Shaggi has expressed gladness for winning the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA.

Bridal Shaggi won this award with his role in the movie ”Inside Life.”

Since hitting the limelight a couple of years ago, Shaggi has successfully garnered massive traction and fanbase with his unique comedic style.

Shaggi speaking on his emergence, he took to his Facebook page on Sunday to express gratitude to God for the award.

According to him, winning the AMVCA award again after the 2022 edition was a product of hard work, stressing that hard work pays.

He wrote, “Winning this award is a reminder that Hard work, consistency dedication and perseverance pays off.

Broda Shaggi beat the likes of Adokiye Horsfall (Romeo WJ) for “Inside Life,” Charles Etubiebi for “Just Friends,” Charles Inojie for “City Hustler,” Chinedu Ikedieze for “Aki and PawPaw,” Kunle Idowu for “Unintentional,” Nedu Ani (Nedu Wazobia) for “Inside Life,” Nkem Owoh for “Battle On Buka Street,” and Nosa Afolabi for “The Razz Guy,” to emerge winner of the Best Actor in a Comedy at AMVCA’s 2023.
