Shun Any Form Of Violence Related To Scarcity Of Fuel, Naira Policy Made By CBN — Sagamu Youths President
Sagamu youths under the leadership of Comrade Segun Sikirulahi Abdulwasiu has called for peace and orderliness in the town.
In a full statement signed by the president but sent and observed by Eaglesforesight correspondent, read below fully:
“As the youth President of our community, I am pleading with you to shun any form of violence related to the scarcity of fuel and the new Naira policy made by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) or any other ones that might be instigated. My appeal is centered on the need to avoid further damages to the existing infrastructure which are not adequate.”
“Our country and community is facing some difficult challenges, but resorting to violence will only make matters worse.”
“We must remember that violence is not the solution to our problems. It only leads to destruction, loss of life and property, and setback in our quest for more developmental strides in our community.”
“Instead, let us come together to find peaceful and constructive solutions to these challenges.
“As young people, we have a responsibility to be the voice of reason and progress in our community. We will hold discussions with relevant authorities, and explore other avenues to express our concerns, grievances and demands.”
“Our strength lies in our unity, and we must use this strength to push for change through peaceful possible means.”

“I want to reiterate my appeal to you to resist the temptation to resort to violence because it is better to jaw-jaw than war-war. The greatest war in world was settled at a roundtable after many lives and properties had been lost. Lets channel our energy towards constructive and progressive means to express our grievances. We must work together to build a stronger, more united community, and we can only achieve this through peaceful dialogue and constructive engagements.”
“We have met with the security operatives and they have agreed to work hand in hand with us in making sure that this whole issue is permanently resolve.”
“Similar issue took place at NNPC Isale Oko last Sunday where the other sister youth Association and our Vice President came to resolve the problem by providing solution and alternative means using e-transactions pending when we are able to meet with the relevant government agencies.”
“This trying period will definitely fade away as tough time dont last, but tough people does. I am pleading with everyone to please mobilize ourselves to our respective polling units to exercise our political franchise by voting wisely. This is the only way we can safeguard our future and of our dearest Country, Nigeria.”
“In conclusion, I call on you all to shun violence, embrace peace and ensure that the existing cordial atmosphere in our community is not threatened.”
