What I Cannot Say Is Whether Peter Obi Has Been Able To Penetrate The North Seriously -Sheikh Gumi
Popular Nigerian Islamic Cleric, Sheikh Gumi, have revealed what he discussed with the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Mr. Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Ahmed. Sheikh Gumi made this known during an interview with the Sun Newspapers.
Sheikh Gumi noted that during Peter Obi’s visit, they discussed his ideas on how to solve Nigeria’s problems.
He however, stated that their conversation with the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi shows that he understands the problems of Nigeria.
Sheikh Gumi further stated that what he cannot say is whether the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi has been able to penetrate the north seriously.
He said, “What I cannot say is whether Peter Obi has been able to penetrate the north seriously. Has Tinubu also been able to do the same? Has Atiku been able to penetrate the south?.
Honestly I don’t have an idea of their penetration across all divides, but I’m sure we will see that after the elections”.
