MB Muazu assured the good people of Zamfara peaceful and grudge-free general elections in the state.

Speaking during a media chat at NSCDC headquarters in Gusau on Sunday, Commander MB Muazu said the Corps was ready to do its very best in synergy with other sister organizations to create perfect voting conditions and atmosphere during the 2023 general election in the state.

“NSCDC is apolitical and would not hesitate to bring to justice any erring officer who in any way believed to have taken a political stance.”

He therefore called on the good people of the state to come out en masse and exercise their right to vote during the general election periods.

He further assured the general public of absolute freedom and security to exercise their civic responsibilities.

“NSCDC will act ruthlessly in accordance with the federation’s existing laws, anyone or groups bent on breaking down the peaceful conduct of the election warned all miscreants and those fanning the embers of political mischief to refrain during this period stop or move the state,” he warned.
