We Arrested DJ Commissioner Wysei, Not DJ Switch, Lagos Police Apologise
The Lagos State Police Command has apologised for a mix-up over the alleged arrest of a popular Nigerian disc jockey, Obianuju Catherine Udeh, aka DJ Switch.
The Nation reported that DJ Switch refuted reports of her being arrested by the Police in Lagos.
Several news outlets (not The Nation) had reported DJ Switch’s arrest in Elemoro area of Ajah, Lagos state.

However, the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who made the apology via his X handle on Thursday, stated that Iwuagwu Ebere Pat popularly known as DJ Commissioner Wysei was the person arrested and not DJ Switch.
He apologised to the media outlets he personally sent the misinformation to.
Hundeyin wrote, “There is a mixup from our end. The arrested person is DJ Commissioner Wysei, not DJ Switch.
“Apologies for all the inconveniences to a few media outfits like Linda Ikeji, BBC and TVC that I gave confirmation this morning.
“Apologies to DJ Switch too.”
