Victory Rally: Attacker Shuts Down Ijebu North, Reassures On Sustained Quality Representation

Joy unspeakable pervaded the atmosphere in Ijebu North on Friday, 2nd of December, 2022 as party faithful thronged the streets of Ago-Iwoye, Oru, Awa & Ilaporu to celebrate the victory of Rt. Hon. Abdel Majid Adesegun Adekoya (ATTACKER) at the Federal High Court, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Recall Justice J.O AbdulMalik of the Federal High Court, Abeokuta, had on Wednesday, 30th of November, 2022 dismissed the suit challenging the victory of Rt. Hon. Adekoya as the duly elected candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the primary election held on the 22nd of May, 2022. The suit was dismissed for being statute barred and plaintiff’s lack of locus standi.

The lawmaker led party faithful and supporters to a victory rally to celebrate his court victory. At the rally, he assured of his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, facilitation of quality projects and legislations that will further bring progress to the federal constituency.

Rt. Hon. Adekoya has recorded impressive performance since his entry into the green chamber in 2015. Apart from pushing for legislations which has brought prosperity to the people of his federal constituency, he has also facilitated monumental projects and youth empowerment programs. According to him, Ijebu North, Ijebu East & Ogun Waterside Federal constituency will witness yet another round of development if he gets the mandate of the people in 2023.
