Veteran Nollywood Actor Chief Kanran Passes Away at 72

The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of veteran actor Olusegun Akinremi, popularly known as Chief Kanran. He was aged 72.
The respected thespian reportedly died on Friday morning, though details surrounding his death remain sketchy at the time of this report.
His passing was confirmed by filmmaker Seun Oloketuyi, who announced the sad development in a post on Instagram, writing: “Popular actor, Segun Remi died Friday morning.”
