“To Become Leader, You Have To Be A Constant Reader”, Hon. Solomon Osho Charged Students To Study Well.

The 2021 Edition of the Free Holiday Coaching, organised & sponsored by May-Five Foundation, founded by

Hon.(Barr.) Solomon Oluwaseyi Osho, Member of Ogun State House of Assembly representing Remo North State Constituency) has come to an end.

“In the last 12 years, May-Five Foundation has continued to give back to society through scholarships, empowerment, grants, training amongst others.”

“The general turnout of the pupils over the period of the last 4 weeks was as close as above 1,000 populations, ranging from JSS1 to SS3, with about 36 volunteer teachers, drivers, supervisors and administrators. Subjects taught include English, Mathematics, Civic Education, Yoruba Language, Biology, Commerce amongst others”, it was gathered from Eaglesforesight source.

Apart from pupils who trekked daily from short distances to the main Centre @St.Peter’s School, Isara, Eaglesforesight was informed that school buses (One train bus & one 28 seater bus) were made available by the organizers to convey students everyday from neighbouring towns such as Ipara, Ode-Remo & others, to/from the centre.

At the closing ceremony and prize-giving day which took place over the weekend, outstanding students were rewarded for their performances in the 2 days Examination exercise conducted at the end of the Coaching Exercise. While some were fortunate to get rewarded with free Jamb/UTME forms, some received instant gifts which included School bags, Textbooks, Exercise books & Mathematical sets amongst other educational materials.

The Founder, May-Five Foundation, Honourable Solomon Osho admonished the participants to be diligent in their studies adding that “leaders are readers, knowledge is power…..You can become whatever you want to become if you work hard……Yes, you can”. He assured them that May-Five Foundation would continue to support the students to be the best.

“All thanks to our Volunteer Teachers who sacrificed their time & energy to impart knowledge to our future leaders. We also appreciate the Ogun State Ministry of Education for their support, SUBEB/Zonal Education Authority, Headteachers & Staffs of St.Peter’s Schools, the DPO & officers of the Isara Divisional Police Station e.t.c”, the organizers appreciate.
