Following last week’s court ruling Gboyega Oyetola as the winner of the 2022 gubernatorial election in Osun StateThe people of Osun have high hopes for the visit of All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential standard bearer Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on February 2.

Kayode Sowade, a leader of the state’s All Progressive Congress, made the announcement on Monday, adding that “for our people, Tinubu’s visit will be icing on the cake of the verdict that reinstates Oyetola as governor of the state.

People especially expect the man who they believe can do the job of restoring the country from its state of chaos to come to the state. Looking at the difficult situation in the country and the leading presidential candidates from all political parties, it is clear that only Asiwaju can handle the situation.

“From Asiwaju’s comments in Abeokuta where he spoke about the hardship of the people in terms of new naira notes and fuel being politically orchestrated, things are already looking good especially when we look at the extension of the deadline for exchanging new banknotes. This shows that he understands the pain of the people and we in Osun are proud of him and expect his visit because the people know that he is the best man for the job.

“His arrival will boost the morale of the average electorate in Osun and now it is not about the party, but about a good leader, regardless of religious or ethnic sentiment, he is the best candidate. So the average resident of Osun is happy that Asiwaju is coming to the state,” Sowade said.

APC’s APC presidential candidate will be in Osun State on Thursday.
