Tinubu’s Re-election in 2027 Unstoppable – APC Chieftain Aliyu

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Farouk Adamu Aliyu, has declared that nothing will prevent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from securing a second term in the 2027 general elections.
Aliyu made the assertion on Tuesday during an interview on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme, where he expressed confidence in the president’s chances despite growing criticism from the opposition.
According to him, while it is common for Nigerians to heap the nation’s challenges on the presidency, some issues extend beyond the control of the occupant of the office. He noted that even former President Goodluck Jonathan was unfairly blamed for certain problems during his administration.

“Every problem of this country is being heaped on the president. Let me concede that there are certain things we attributed to former President Goodluck Jonathan which were not correct. I realise there are exigencies of the office, and you need to tread with caution,” Aliyu said.
Reaffirming his stance, the APC stalwart insisted: “Nothing will stop President Bola Tinubu from coming back in 2027.”
Aliyu also dismissed the strength of the opposition parties, stressing that their efforts would not derail the APC’s plans for continuity in governance.
