Tinubu promises employment opportunities for job seekers in Osun
All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu on Thursday promised employment opportunities for job seekers in Osun state if they are elected as the country’s next president.
The APC national leader who made the pledge at the party’s campaign rally organized by the party’s state branch for his election to the position at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, in Osogbo, stated that his government, if voted, would who would take care of their unemployment.
He said, “You who went to college and got degrees, separately, we’ll provide jobs.
“They did not send you to schools to suffer in vain, you will prosper, you will become lawyers, doctors and wonderful people. Those they say, we’ve seen it.
Speaking on PDP, Tinubu said “they use a little thing to try them. We tried to get you into government, but you’re creating a crisis and attacking our members in APC.
“Since then we have fought, we fought for Aregbesola for three years before we got it from the PDP in the state. Or did you forget? You will not suffer.
“The PDP came in through the back door. They came through the kitchen to steal our clothes, but we’re going to get our clothes back from them. I’ll be back,” he concluded.
Also speaking at the event, former governor of the state Gboyega Oyetola credited the people of the state for standing by him firmly in the struggling band and instructed them to keep up the pace.
