Tension As Allegedly Sponsored Nigerians Storm National Assembly To Protest Against IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu

Nigerians stormed the National Assembly in Abuja to protest against the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

This is coming after gunmen suspected to be IPOB members reportedly chased Seniors students of Comprehensive Secondary School, out of examination hall.

Comprehensive Secondary School, Nkume, is in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State.

The students and staff were stopped by enforcers of the Sit-at-home order while they were about to write the West African Examination Council (WAEC) English Language Examination.

Eaglesforesight allegedly confirmed that the gunmen came into the school around 8.30 am, asking students, staff and invigilators to vacate the school premises. They also burnt all the motorcycles parked in the premises.

In Abuja, a group of men and women carrying placards with inscriptions against the Proscribed pro-secession group were seen in front of the assembly complex on Tuesday afternoon.

The protest was organized by one Chukwuka Ofoegbu popularly known as ā€˜ijelespeaksā€™.

Some of the protesters were seen carrying placards that read; ā€œSay No to IPOB and their Terrorismā€, ā€œHow is burning WAEC Examination materials going to give you Biafra?ā€ etc.

The protesters also attacked Abia Senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe over his reported support for the group and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
