Technology is a sector of opportunity – Gabriel Ezenri

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Plutus Tech Solutions, Gabriel Ezenri, has said that the tech industry is a sector full of many opportunities for people to excel in as it cuts across all fields.

Ezenri made this claim at Plutus Tech Solutions’ 2nd pre-anniversary event when he spoke about people’s misconceptions about technology and its benefits in the field.

He stressed that the technology industry has many sectors and offers numerous opportunities for people to take advantage of.

According to him, “you just have to adapt skills you already have to the tech sector,” he said.

He also advised people not to think of Tech as just a profession, noting that it cuts across many professions, and thus should be considered a sector in the country as such.

“Stop thinking about technology as a profession and start thinking about it as an industry with numerous opportunities that everyone can take advantage of.

“We often hear people say that technology is not for everyone. We still need doctors, lawyers, engineers, pharmacists, etc.’

“While we understand the sentiment, it is important to note that seeing technology as a profession is a false belief, as it is, in fact, an industry in which many different professions operate,” he said.

Citing the healthcare industry as an example, the CEO, who is also a pharmacist, stated that “while doctors and nurses are primary care providers, there are many other professionals working in that industry who are not doctors or nurses, such as hospital administrators, health insurance providers and caregivers.
