Tech Empowerment: Hon. Damilare Bello Supports Sagamu Youths With Cash Gifts, Certificates After Digital Training

Honourable Omooba Damilare Bello Muhammed, through the Damilare Muhammed Bello Foundation (DMB Foundation), has empowered a fresh batch of graduates from a free computer training program with certificates and cash gifts. The initiative, aimed at equipping young people with relevant digital skills, reflects Hon. Bello’s enduring commitment to youth development and community advancement.
The graduation ceremony, which took place in Sagamu, was a moment of pride and celebration for both the facilitators and participants. Comrade Damilare Fasasi, the Provost of DMB Foundation, expressed his heartfelt delight over the turnout and passion of the young graduates. He emphasized the importance of investing in digital literacy and urged the beneficiaries to not only apply their new skills but to also find ways to give back to the society that nurtured them.
While addressing the graduates, Hon. Damilare Bello, who represents Ofin, Sagamu 1 State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly, stated that the program was part of his long-term vision to reduce youth unemployment and foster innovation in Sagamu.
The Deputy Provost, Comrade Kehinde Dumiye also praised the resilience and discipline of the participants throughout the training process and commended Team Dre for their tireless efforts in making the project a reality.

The event attracted notable personalities, including the PDP party Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Deacon Dauda Adeyemi, who lauded the foundation’s foresight and consistency in supporting grassroots development. Among the distinguished guests was Honourable Muibi Abdullateef Abana and King Olalekan Ogunremi, a respected diaspora figure who flew in from the United Kingdom specifically to witness the occasion, showing solidarity and belief in the transformative power of the initiative.
