Subsidy Removal: Omooba Ayoola Sends Strong Messages To Nigerians
The Ogun State All Progressives Congress Chieftain, Omooba Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola on fuel subsidy removal has sent strong words of encouragement to Nigerians, security agencies and marketers as pressures rises in the country over president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inaugural speech.
“Fuel stations across the country are engaging in economic sabotage by either hoarding products or hiking pump prices in response to the absence of fuel subsidies, as recently commented on by President Bola Tinubu.”

“However, the current budget, which is still in effect until June, includes payment for these subsidies, so the shortages and price increases are unjustified.”
“The NNPC must take action to sanction offending gas stations, and law enforcement agencies should offer support.”
This behavior is unacceptable and must be addressed promptly, Omooba Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola said.
