Southern Youth Assembly Honours Armstrong Paints CEO for Outstanding Leadership

The Southern Youth Assembly of Nigeria (SYAN) has recognised Engr. Adisa Uthman Adekunle, Managing Director of Armstrong Paints Ltd., with its Exemplary Leadership Award of Excellence, while also presenting a Certificate of Credence to the company.
The presentation, which took place at Armstrong Paints’ headquarters in Osogbo on Wednesday, also saw SYAN pass a vote of confidence on Engr. Adekunle, naming him Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year.
Leading the delegation, Hon. (Amb.) Sanni Ahmed, SYAN’s Chairman of Empowerment and Programs, hailed Engr. Adekunle as “a leader whose vision, dedication to excellence, and contributions to community development make him a role model for Nigerian youths.” He commended the Armstrong Paints boss for growing a trusted brand while supporting initiatives that empower young people.

Responding, Engr. Adekunle expressed gratitude for the honour, stating that the recognition would spur him to “continue delivering quality, creating jobs, and contributing to national progress.” He lauded SYAN for its role in mentoring the next generation of leaders and pledged to support its youth-oriented programmes.
SYAN is a parliamentary youth body operating in 17 southern states across the South West, South South, and South East. It brings together young leaders, peacebuilders, and activists to learn the craft of lawmaking, advocate for youth-friendly policies, and amplify the voices of young Nigerians at both state and national levels.
