Salako Boosts PDP Campaigns In Ogun With Cash Support, Counsels On Unity And Discipline Ahead Of LG Elections

In order to strengthen which is aimed at bolstering the electoral prospects of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Hon. Seni Salako, a prominent party chieftain, has provided handsome cash support to all 26 PDP candidates across Yewa South and Ipokia local governments. The support is intended to enhance their chances in the forthcoming Local Government elections scheduled for November 16, 2024.

The presentations, held on October 7th and 9th in Ipokia and Ilaro, respectively, form part of Hon. Salako’s broader efforts to strengthen the party’s standing in the Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency and the Ogun West Senatorial District at large. By extending this financial support, Salako seeks to reinforce the party’s position and help it regain its winning momentum in the region.

During the event, Salako emphasized the importance of unity and discipline among party leaders candidates and other stakeholders; highlighting that effective local government administration is the key to addressing the socio-economic challenges currently faced by residents of Ogun State.

He criticized the ruling APC government, holding it responsible for the hardship been experienced by the people, and stressed that local government is the closest tier of governance capable of alleviating these difficulties.

Salako’s message of solidarity and collaboration was well-received by party members and beneficiaries, who expressed their appreciation for his generous contributions. The event also featured the distribution of other gifts to support the candidates in their electioneering campaigns.
