Sagamu Youth Association Celebrates Remo Stars’ Historic NPFL Title Triumph

The Sagamu Youth Association has extended warm congratulations to Remo Stars Football Club following their remarkable feat of emerging champions of the 2024/2025 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season. This historic achievement marks the first time the club, widely regarded as the Pride of Remo, will lift the prestigious domestic title, cementing their place among Nigeria’s football elite.
Remo Stars secured the championship with three matches to spare, a testament to their consistency, tactical discipline, and resilience throughout the campaign. The club’s triumph did not come overnight, having previously finished in third place and then as runners-up in consecutive seasons. Their perseverance and steady rise through the ranks of Nigerian football has now culminated in this well-deserved crowning moment.
The Sagamu Youth Association described the victory as not only a source of pride for the people of Remoland but also a symbol of hope and inspiration for the youth across Ogun State and Nigeria at large. In a statement, the association praised the club’s management, coaching crew, players, and supporters for their unwavering commitment and passion that fueled this success story.
Beyond national glory, the association expressed confidence in the club’s potential to shine on the continental stage. As Remo Stars prepare to represent Nigeria in the forthcoming CAF Champions League, the association urged the team to approach the competition with the same spirit, unity, and determination that earned them the NPFL title.

We wish them a successful outing in the CAF Champions League.”
The association concluded by calling on the government, private sector, and sports development stakeholders to rally behind Remo Stars as they embark on this new journey. With proper support and investment, the club can continue to grow and inspire a new generation of football talents in Remo, Sagamu, and beyond.
