Sagamu Ward 13 Shows Unmatched Turnout And Enthusiasm As AFO Pledges Continued Development

Ward 13 in Sagamu Local Government has in a display of loyalty and enthusiasm welcomed Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate’s campaign team with an unprecedented turnout and support. Joined by Ogun State dignitaries, including Hon. Ronke Shoyombo (Special Adviser for Education), Hon. AKA (SA to the Ogun State Governor), and Hon. Femi Ogundalu, the campaign began with a visit to the palace of His Royal Highness, Ọba Olugbenga Gbadebo Sonuga, the Fadesewa of Simawa.

At the palace, Ọba Sonuga encouraged Odulate to continue his impactful community projects, especially in road infrastructure. Odulate responded by pledging to establish an area office in Simawa, reinforcing his commitment to local development.

The campaign then proceeded to Mechanic Village, where members of the Nigerian Automobile Technicians Association (N.A.T.A.) praised Odulate’s achievements in his first term and pledged support for his re-election. Leaders in attendance expressed gratitude for N.A.T.A.’s past loyalty to the APC and sought continued backing for the party.

Following a visit to the Onigbepa of Igbepa, HRH Alayeluwa Ọba S.O. Dawodu, who gave his blessings, Ward 13 members held a moment of silence for the late Comrade Awolesi Saheed, affectionately known as “Star Boy.” Leaders Raji and Hon. Tunde Sonubi encouraged Odulate to remain focused on addressing the community’s needs as a tribute to the people’s trust.

In a significant endorsement, the Baba L’oja of Igbepa, Oloye Odutola Adeniyi, applauded Odulate’s leadership and assured him of unwavering support from local traders. As a symbolic moment, the APC Ward 13 Chairman, Mr. Opaleye, presented the party flag to Hon. Alhaji Dada Ogunyombo, the Ward 13 Councillorship candidate, marking unity and resolve for the November election.
