Sagamu Schools Violence: Ogun Lawmaker, Omooba Damilare Bello (DRE) Leads Campaign For Safer Learning Environment

Sagamu, Ogun State – In a decisive move to curb rising student conflicts, Hon. Omooba Damilare Mohammad Bello (DRE), the Ogun State House of Assembly member representing Sagamu Constituency 1, has taken a firm stand against Sagamu Schools violence.

During a visit to Batoro Community Grammar School earlier today, Hon. Bello engaged with the school’s leadership and students to address the growing concerns over student clashes. He was warmly received by the principals of both the junior and senior sections, where discussions centered on fostering peace, discipline, and a conducive learning atmosphere.

Addressing the students, the lawmaker emphasized the importance of education and positive values, urging them to replace hostility with respect, defiance with obedience, and violence with discipline. He reminded them that true greatness stems from character and knowledge, not conflict.

“I encourage you to stay away from violence and focus on your studies. As your representative, I will work with my legislative colleagues to ensure a safer learning environment for you. Any form of irregularity should be reported to teachers, parents, or security agencies,” he stated.
