Sagamu LG Chairman, Ogbeni Odulate, Celebrates Fathers As Pillars Of Society

In commemoration of this year’s Father’s Day, the Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has paid glowing tribute to fathers across Sagamu and beyond, describing them as the “unsung heroes and true pillars of families and communities.”

Ogbeni Odulate, in a heartfelt message released on Sunday, emphasized the importance of honouring fathers not just in memory, but while they are still alive and actively shaping lives.

“Too often, fathers receive their first flowers only after they’re gone. Today, we choose to celebrate them while they are here — present, steadfast, and selfless,” he said.

He applauded the men who continue to carry the weight of their families with strength, courage, and quiet dignity, often sacrificing in silence to ensure the wellbeing of their loved ones.

“To every father who stands firm, shows up every day, and gives his all — your efforts do not go unnoticed. You are the silent architects of strong homes and stable societies,” Ogbeni Odulate added.
