The masses in Sagamu part of Yoruba Nation in Ogun State, particularly youths, demonstrated their readiness as a generation to stand up against oppression and fight to end all forms of injustice, with the Yoruba NATION NOW protests. The regime’s draconian actions over the last few years show that this struggle must continue.

The struggles to end dictatorship and corrupt rule of a few, is an idea whose time has come. No amount of intimidation will stop the people united and determined to fulfil our historic mission.
It is curious that a government that claimed it negotiated with terrorists and integrated them into the military could not negotiate with unarmed protesters but chose to oppress them.

This double standard that this characteristic of the weaked country federal government administration is condemnable

In an interview with an eye witness of the peaceful Yoruba NATION NOW agitators protest in the town, a vibrant revolutionary activist and notable youth in the community called Lahbash said this in an exclusive interview with Eaglesforesight, during which he also noted that 80 per cent of the problem of the Yoruba is caused by Yoruba themselves.

Prince Lahbash (A political activist and a nation builder)

Asked if he has regrets about the trajectory his struggles has took him to in the course to fight for justice and human rights so far, Comrade Lahbash said no, but that the challenge is the lack of unity among the Yoruba.

This is the beginning of the awakening of the Yoruba especially the turn out of Sagamu marketers, ages, transporters and youths is laudable and encouraging

Scores of people in the southwest, even in the northern part of Nigeria have been protesting against this federal  government blithe unconcern as hundreds of men, women, and children are senselessly murdered or kidnapped for ransom every week in the region.
Beyond that People who has said Buhari was an irreproachable demi-god who could do no wrong suddenly now see wisdom in protesting physically or on social media. People who once protested in SUPPORT of Buhari’s petrol price hikes that smolder them and AGAINST people who opposed it are suddenly waking up to the realization that Buhari has nothing but stone-cold disdain for them.
It was now glaring clear that the orchestrated government policy is a scam and there is need to opt out of Nigeria to build a nation in from a nation
People who’d cursed and insulted us for calling out Buhari’s ineptitude and fraud have now become emergency social critics because the regime’s unrelieved incompetence now threatens their very survival.

The overall turnout of people in Sagamu Peaceful Yoruba NATION NOW protest today has shown keenly that Yoruba NATION dream is actually becoming reality
The Sagamu Yoruba NATION organizer whose name was withheld on her order for security reasons said, I have no respect for people whose moral conscience is so feeble that they protest injustice and governmental ineptitude only when they’re personally affected. Martin Luther King famously said injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. If it happens there, it can happen here.
Even the best-intentioned governments need the periodic nudges of a critical democratic citizenry. To not demand action and accountability from a government, any government, is to give that government a blank check to be irresponsible.
Literally, Yoruba NATION has come to Stay Now and no going back
Ọmọ Oduduwa ile ya….
