Sagamu Descendants Forum Lays Foundation, Begins Construction Of Vocational Training Center, Offices

The Sagamu Descendants Forum (SDF) has laid the foundation of standard concrete culvert & drainage pipe construction and immediately commenced the construction of vocational training center in Sagamu, Ogun State.

The forum President, Omoluabi Pataki Soluade Tokunbo earlier disclosed this on his Facebook page, and later made the statement below available to The Eaglesforesight correspondent:

“Dear Esteemed Members of SDF INT’L Sagamudescendantsforum sdf , our supporters and friends of SDF”.

“Please, this is a special invitation to the culvert concrete & drainage pipe construction presentation today, Monday 26th February 2024, at PROGRESS ESTATE SAGAMU (Opposite Federal Government College, Sagamu ), Access Road Culvert to SDF VOCATIONAL TRAINING Permanent Site, opposite Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu.”

The SDF President, Soluade Tokunbo who noted that the project didn’t just start today, but it has been in plan for the past two and half years ago, the forum initiatives does not want Sagamu youths to live in idles, said him (the President) and the entire executives of the forum are concerned about the plight of the people who have been calling for this, and today here we are after we have already embarked on training no fewer than 100 participants annually.

According to him, “it is time for Sagamu people to start having a conducive center for their training. This is a beginning of a journey to build the future we all have been clamouring for in the years past.

“I have to thank Chief Mrs Adeola Sode and the president of the forum, Omoluabi Pataki Soluade Tokunbo for their dedications to have started the laying of this solid foundation, which the forum will now build upon. We can’t evaluate how much this project will cost us, every well wishers should join hands in the project so that we can give a sound nation to our youths”, Prince Segun Oyemade, the BOT Chairman said.

“I am glad to be a member of SDF, it shows the dedication, loyalty of what we all believes in. The acceleration 9f this laudable project can only comes through donations of the forum members and non members. Let’s do this for our youths and the future ones to come”, Chief Mrs Adeola Sode said.

A non-member of the forum and a concern citizen of Sagamu, Olusola Oluwaseun said; “I got to heard about this wonderful project this morning and I can’t help but to make my self available out of my busy schedules. I appreciate the brains behind this initiative, I would only pray for members of SDF for God’s blessings should come on them.”

Lahbash while speaking to the Eaglesforesight correspondent, emphasized that; “my presence here is because my dream is coming to reality through the initiative of Sagamu Descendants Forum, SDF, and I see it as necessity to be here in making history. He said, while he advises the youths to embrace same whenever they are in position to do so in future. This is our town, we need to build the nation from the grassroots.”

“This project is a huge one for the Sagamu Youths and Remo by extensions, my prayer is for the facilitators to be financially stable to finish the project within short period of time”, Famuyiwa Ayokunle said.
