Sagamu Day 2024: Youths Unite With Akarigbo In Historic Procession To Orisagamu Ewa Groove For 40th Anniversary Celebration
The Sagamu Youth Association ably led by Comrade Olugbenga Isiaka Lawal popularly known as Ambassador Easy has in a vibrant display of unity, cultural pride, and historical reverence joined forces with His Royal Majesty, the Akarigbo of Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, in a symbolic march to the sacred Orisagamu Ewa Groove.
This historic journey marks the official commencement of festivities for the 40th annual Sagamu Day, a cherished event celebrating the enduring heritage, identity, and unity of the Sagamu people.
The march to Orisagamu Ewa Groove, a site steeped in cultural significance for the Remo people, signals the community’s dedication to preserving the rich customs of Sagamu.
