Sagamu Council Chairman, Ogbeni Odulate Felicitates Okunola, Belgium, Jekami On Strategic State Appointments

The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has extended warm congratulations to three illustrious sons and daughters of Sagamu on their recent appointments by the Ogun State Government.

In a statement released from his office, Ogbeni Odulate lauded Hon. Olaide Okunola, newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, as well as Hon. Tola Olutayo and Hon. Lizzy Jekami, both appointed as Governor’s Liaison Officers.

Describing the appointments as “well-deserved recognitions,” the chairman emphasized that the elevation of Sagamu indigenes to strategic positions reflects the town’s increasing relevance in the political and developmental landscape of Ogun State.

“It is heartening to see Sagamu citizens being entrusted with key responsibilities at the state level,” Ogbeni Odulate stated. “These appointments are not only a personal victory for the appointees but also a collective pride for Sagamu. Your efforts and dedication to service have not gone unnoticed.”

He expressed confidence in their capacity to deliver and urged them to bring positive impact to their roles, while assuring them of the council’s support.

“As you take on these new roles, I wish you wisdom, strength, and success. Let this be a new chapter of purposeful service that further enhances the development of our dear community and the state at large,” he added.

Ogbeni Odulate reaffirmed his commitment to synergy and collaboration with all Sagamu stakeholders in public service, noting that such unity remains critical to sustainable growth and development in the local government.
