The Executive Chairman of Sagamu Local Government, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Odulate, has applauded the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for fulfilling his promise to reconstruct the major Aiyepe Road leading to the Sagamu Local Government Secretariat.

Odulate described Governor Abiodun as “a promise keeper and a leader who matches words with action,” commending his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and infrastructural transformation across the state.

Speaking during an interview with Ogun State Television (OGTV) on Monday in his office at the council secretariat, the council boss recalled that Governor Abiodun, at the end of his first term, pledged to rehabilitate key roads across Ogun State — including the vital access road to the Sagamu Secretariat, which serves as a major link to several adjoining communities.

“Today, we are proud to say that His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has kept his promise. The construction of this road is not just a campaign pledge fulfilled but clear evidence of his administration’s dedication to grassroots progress,” Odulate stated.

“This development has enhanced access to the Secretariat, boosted commercial activities, and improved the movement of goods and services across our communities,” he added.

The Sagamu council chairman also highlighted other strategic road projects recently executed within the local government, including the Oba Erinwole Road and Ajegunle Road, noting that these infrastructural strides collectively reflect Governor Abiodun’s visionary leadership and long-term plan to open up Ogun State for greater economic opportunities.

“Governor Abiodun’s focus on infrastructure as a catalyst for economic growth is laudable. As a local government, we are complementing these efforts by rehabilitating several inner roads across our wards to further ease mobility for our people,” Odulate said.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to supporting the state government’s developmental agenda, Odulate assured residents of continued delivery of community-centered projects that would improve the quality of life for all Sagamu citizens.

The chairman further expressed gratitude to the governor for his inclusive and people-oriented governance style, assuring that the people of Sagamu remain firmly supportive of his leadership as Ogun State continues on its path toward greater prosperity.
