Sabo Under Bridge: PDP, Omooba Damilare Bello, Condemns Sagamu LG Forceful Eviction Of Traders, Tagged It Callous Act.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sagamu local government chapter has condemned the Council actions against forceful eviction of traders under the Sabo flyover bridge. 

The party said, the action taken was hasty and poor political decision. Speaking with our correspondent on phone was the party’s Chairmanship candidate Sagamu local government Omooba Damilare Mohammed Bello Dre who after the election, return back to the UK, he said, the government’s decision and action is anti people and undemocratic for government not to provide alternatives location.

He said, “beautification exercise is a welcome idea but not at the detriment of our peoples livelihoods.” He mentioned that the Chairman didn’t do his home work well. Destroying peoples means of livelihoods doesn’t solve the problems.

“Government should think of providing alternatives location for the traders before forcing them out.”

Omooba Damilare Mohammed Bello Dre, who called on the victims to remain calm, also promises to provide his little assistance to cushion the effects of the destruction meted on them by this wicked administration.
