RIDSCo Facilitates Commissioning Of Two Laudable Projects In Sagamu

RIDSCo has again facilitates the commissioning of two laudable projects in Sagamu

The collaborative efforts by RIDSCo, Nestle Nigeria Plc and Transit Gas Nigeria Ltd with the unrelenting inputs of Community stakeholders have once again been identified as an important strategy towards community development in Sagamu. This was the message of a front-line community leader in Sagamu, in person of Olootu Omoba M.O Oyedele at the handing-over of the newly renovated Ajaka Health Centre and numerous modern medical items and hospital needs not limited to ultra scanning machine among others to the Sagamu Local Government Primary Health Center Ajaka. The Centre was renovated by Nestlé while Transit Gas Nigeria Ltd provided the equipment.
Mr Sakiru Lawal who was among the guests of honour lauded the donor for their Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), philanthropic gestures and urged other well-meaning indigenes of the ancient town to jointly support any initiative that would add value to the town.
He noted that equipment would not only provide convenience and comfort within the health center but also provide adequate assurance of meeting the needs of the patients.

In her words, Mrs Victoria Uwadoka said, “it is my pleasure to address the entire sons and daughters of the beneficiary Community to acknowledge the significance of another landmark project in our dear town and beautification of our health center that is now fully equipped with many facilities”

The Honourable Commissioner for Health ably represented by Dr Elijah Ogunsola also emphasized more on the many efforts been put in place by the ministry with the efforts of HE Dapo Abiodun, Ogun State Governor. “The state Government has approved monthly cost for all Health Centers across all the local government in the state.”

Upon commissioning the Ajaka health center, the team without the management of Nestlé moved to Ewu-Oliwo Health Centre to commission the newly constructed wall fence with iron gate sponsored by Transit Gas Nigeria Ltd. It is noteworthy to stress that the Centre was rehabilitated by Lafarge Africa Plc as part of CSR projects in 2020. The whole of Oliwo Awonusi residents were appreciative of the good gesture.

“The unity of our past and present community elders is a vital tool for the development we are experiencing. It is our collective prayer to Almighty God to guide our leaders right.”
“My people, there is need for synergy among ourselves for a better community with sensitive attention to maximizing the benefits we are experiencing today here and there, says Olootu Oyedele.”
Speaking in the same vein, Bar Aloiye Aigbonoga, Head Corporate Communications and Security of Transit Gas Nigeria Ltd assured the community that his company will do more as the whole of Sagamu Local Government is now part of them.
“It is significantly necessary before concluding my vote of thanks to acknowledge the RIDSCo Executives members, Nestle, Lafarge and Transit Gas Nigeria Ltd for their administrative input; we shall not labour in vain”, Matron Adewuja says.
