Remo Day: Oloke Rejoices With Akarigbo, Other Remo Chiefs

Dr. Oladunni Olayinka, the Olu of Oke Ariko Sagamu, has rejoiced with the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, other traditional rulers and all the chiefs of Remoland over the maiden Remo Day which kicked off on Friday.

Dr. Olayinka, a prominent leader while hailing the festival emphasised its significant role in driving the cultural, social, and political development of the Remo land.

The culture icon has however tasked the people of Remo land to use the platform of the annual festival to cement the bond of unity among the various Remo communities and expand the frontiers of peace and prosperity of Remo land.

People of Remoland reflects his leadership vision and the importance he places on communal harmony and collective progress.

Olayinka said “It is with immeasurable joy and deep sense of pride and affection that I welcome the sons, daughters of Remoland and their friends and associates to colourful Remo Day festival.

“I must first rejoice with our father, the Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remo land, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, other traditional rulers and chiefs across Remoland on this auspicious occasion.

On this auspicious occasion of Remo Day 2024, I celebrate your exemplary leadership, unwavering dedication to the progress of Remoland, and commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage of your people.

“Your reign continues to be a beacon of peace, unity, and prosperity, fostering growth and harmony across your domain.
